Alpes Sanfer, a Mexico based company with a footprint in over 20 countries, approached Luttrell Staffing Group with a clear vision for their U.S. growth, but seeking advice on compliance across federal, state, and local requirements. Dating back to the 1940s, a desperate need for medicines that exceeded the capacity of large laboratories led to a global shortage in the pharmaceutical industry. Feeling the effects of this shortage in Mexico, Ramón Santoveña Calleja and Celestino Fernández Valle joined forces constituting Laboratorios Sanfer with the mission of manufacturing new pharmaceutical products that would contribute to the treatment of diseases and to preserve health.
After 80+ successful years of operation in Mexico and Latin America, the Sanfer team has a clear mission: To be a Group with a national and international reputation, which produces and markets quality products for human and animal health, which exceeds the expectations of its customers, promotes the development of all the people who collaborate in it and increases its assets to guarantee its growth sustained.
The Luttrell team was thrilled to put their 30+ years of U.S. business knowledge into action to support that mission and become a key resource for the Sanfer team. The Luttrell team facilitated safety walk-throughs of the new Tennessee facility, assessing hazards and emphasizing requirements for a safe work environment as mandated by TOSHA. Working hand in hand, Luttrell aided Sanfer as they created tailored training and a complete safety program from the ground up. The Sanfer team prioritized a compliant and safe work environment and Luttrell was happy to assist in bringing that to fruition. In addition, to providing insights into workplace safety, Luttrell addressed other regulatory concerns by making referrals to trusted legal counsel and their long-term accounting firm partner.
